When an event is deleted so should the Feature Image

Hi:

When importing events through the aggregator I get a ton of images added to my system. I would like that when I delete an event the associated feature image is also deleted. The product does not do this right now and it seems to be proper “garbage collection” of an event. Delete the event, delete the image.

Please let me know if there is something I am missing when I delete my events.

Hey Jason,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Right now, out-of-the-box, it’s not possible to delete the Featured Image associated with a specific event. Only the event post and postmeta are removed from your database when you permanently delete an event: images will remain in the media library/on the disk.

You can either search for the images in the WordPress Media Library by name or by date, or browse to your images folder via FTP and remove the images from there.
