what permalink to use?

I’m confused. What are pretty permalink? Or more importantly what should my Event Calendar Pro and Community Events permalinks be set to?

Hello Jake,

Pretty Permalinks usually just use the post title in the link instead of the id, so it is easier to ready and determine what the link is.

So:

http://example.com/?p=2424

Becomes this:

http://example.com/post-name/

By default the Events Calendar Link is set @

http://example.com/events/

Community Events is  set @
http://example.com/events/community/add/

http://example.com/events/community/list/

OK so what goes under WordPress/Settings/Permalinks /Custom field?

If you are talking about the custom structure field, you do not have to use that.  If you select the Post Name Option and then save you will be all set. You can select any of the other options besides default for The Events Calendar to work.
