What parts of Events Calendar Pro are annual fees?

If I purchase an $89 personal license for Events Calendar Pro, I receive support and updates for 1 year. Does that mean after 1 year the functionality will return to the free settings if I do not renew? For instance, will I lose the recurring events feature if I don’t renew in year 2? I understand that if I do not renew, I will not receive updates and that functionality won’t be guaranteed with future WordPress updates. I just want to be able to answer my clients questions in this regard. Lastly, are there discounted renewal rates or are the renewal rates the same as first time purchase rates? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

At the end of your year of support and updates, your PRO plugin will still continue to work on your site. But like you said, we won’t be able to guarantee that they’ll continue to work as updates to the core plugin and WordPress are made.

When renewing, we do have a renewal discount that you’ll be able to use when the time for renewal does come up.

Just a follow up to your reply to Sully.

I am also looking to purchase the Pro version (for a local church where I am redesigning their website) and note that renewal is at a discount rate – great. Are you able to indicate what that rate might be as I’d like to give the parish elders an idea on additional on-going costs as we move forward with the redesign.
