What is WP Router Placeholder Page?

I am seeing the WP Router Placeholder page show up in my site stats that people are viewing it.. what is this page? what does it mean? is it an error or what do they see there?

I believe this is something used in routing the URLs in the generated pages of Community Events Plugin. If I go to your site at https://www.yourcommunityconnection.ca/WP_Router/wp-router-placeholder-page/ it redirects to your homepage. I’m not sure if this showing in your site stats is a problem or not. By “site stats” do you mean in your Google Analytics stats?

To see if there are any errors being generated in relation to this, can you please try enabling wp_debug and wp_debug_log as is described here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress. Check to see if a debug.log file is generated in your “wp-content” directory. If so, please upload the contents of the file here.

Thank you for providing that additional information. The PHP errors don’t seem to have anything to do with the events plugins. I asked around a bit, and as long as your users are not seeing this virtual page on the front end, it should not be a problem. I agree that it is strange that this shows up in your stats, but as far as I can tell, this is nothing to be concerned about.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns regarding this matter.
