    Hello everybody,

I am not clear what the intended function of the map pins on the google maps view should be. On my site it displays one future random(?) event on that location. How can I control what the action is on a click on a map pin?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Stefan

Hi Stefan. Sorry things aren’t perfectly clear in this area.

The Map View only displays events assigned to a Venue that has geocoordinates.

Additionally, if multiple events are assigned to the same Venue, our mapping doesn’t currently have “clustering” (e.g. “4 events at this pin” and “2 events at that other Venue”)

If this doesn’t fully clarify the issue for you, please provide additional information (links and screenshots are always helpful).

    Thanks!

    Hi Cliff,

    thank you for your information.

From my point of view it would be sufficient if the pins don’t have any information available on click. Let them just stay there and be pins. The alternatively could be a link to the according venue page.

This would be a great feature for a future release.

    Best,
    Stefan

You can search for another feature request or add your own there too.

Thanks for letting me know this thread is resolved. Have a great day!
