GuestHello,
I am a little confused. 🙂
I want to show events on my website and wanted to use Events Calendar Pro. It does nearly all the things I want to have.
But I wonder how my customers will pay for the events.I thought of using WooCommerce with Paypal for the payments and I saw the WooCommerce tickets add-on.
Now I wonder how the things fit together.
What do I actually need to display the events with the options Events Calendar Pro offers and let the customers check out via WooCommerce?
Would you please give me a hint? 🙂
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Henning!
Thanks for your interest in our plugins.
To make events on your site and sell them, these are the minimum plugins you would need on your site:
• The Events Calendar [free]
• WooCommerce [free]
• Event Tickets [free]
• Event Tickets Plus [premium]You do NOT need Events Calendar Pro on top of all of this, although you can add that too 🙂
Does this information help? If not, let me know what specific things you’re unsure about, I’m happy to help clarify!
Sincerely,

GuestHello George,
Thank you sooo much for your support!
I want Events Calendar Pro because of the additional features. 🙂
I have WooCommerce already installed.
So just to clarify I do not need tickets for the Events. The people just have to get an email after the payment with informations. So with this in mind do I really have to use (two) Event Ticket plugins?
So it’s the event posted with Events Calendar Pro and then I need a payment button to pay with WooCommerce.
If I need the two
• Event Tickets [free]
• Event Tickets Plus [premium]could you tell me what they are doing in this process?
Thank you again,

ParticipantThanks Henning – happy to elaborate on Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus here.
So, The Events Calendar is what generates the actual events. Events Calendar Pro and all other add-ons that we sell here just extend this “core”, free functionality with The Events Calendar.
If you want to have tickets for these events, then you will need Event Tickets.
Like The Events Calendar, Event Tickets is a free core plugin.
Events Calendar Pro is a premium add-on for The Events Calendar; Event Tickets Plus is a premium add-on for Event Tickets.
Does that make sense?

ParticipantNow, Event Tickets [the free, core plugin] will only allow people to RSVP for tickets. In other words, you cannot charge people money for tickets if you just have Event Tickets.
You will need to add Event Tickets Plus to your site to be able to charge money for your tickets, and to collect that money with WooCommerce.
