ParticipantHi there,
For it being a part of the paid environment, I thought the Week view would be way more promising than what it is at the moment. Boy, was I disappointed. The week view still shows the day# as English notation… For example, today is the 7th of November in English notation. But in Dutch notation it’s the ‘7de’
The correct notation for all days in the NL format should be:
1: 1ste
2: 2de
3: 3de
4-19: XXde
20: 20ste
21: 21ste
22: 22ste
23-29: XXste
30: 30de
31: 31deThe notation of the days (Ma/di/wo/do/vr/za/zo) is correct though.
How can this be changed?

ParticipantCorrection, 30de >> 30ste
So:
1: 1ste
2-19: XXde
20-31: XXsteNovember 7, 2015 at 9:58 pm #1022975Cliff
MemberHi Hans. All our translations are community-provided.
We’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups for it:
- <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/</span>
Two things to note are:
- You do not have to submit an entire translation, you can just submit translations for individual strings. Even if it’s just one string, or something like a spelling correction, it all helps!
- Your submitted strings will be saved as “suggestions”, and not immediately included in a translation file for export until an administrator approves them. This may seem like a limitation, but it just helps us ensure nobody comes along and deletes translations or adds spam or something to them. Your suggestions will be approved very promptly.
I hope the information here brings you up to speed on our new translations site. Please let us know if it does or if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi Cliff,
What is the usual lead time for approval of a suggested translation? There were a couple of errors I reported already on October 30th, but they are still pending verification (see http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar-pro/nl/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=either&filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=1290&filters%5Btranslation_id%5D=69155 for example)
I specifically want http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar-pro/nl/default?filters%5Bstatus%5D=either&filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=1144&filters%5Btranslation_id%5D=69154 to be approved and added since the current translation ‘Ander’ is really bad en not appropriately written. My suggestion covers the content much better.
Also, I can’t find the entries that define the ‘1st/2nd/3rd’ ruling in this environment.

MemberThere’s someone scheduled to review translations each week. I’m not sure what the status of those items are, but I brought them to the attention of the person who should be reviewing them this upcoming week. Maybe that’ll help move them along.
https://codex.wordpress.org/I18n_for_WordPress_Developers#Plurals addresses how plurals get translated, assuming the code is internationalized properly.
Let me know if there’s more I can help with in regards to your ticket.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I see that the translation was approved. Thanks for your help in this matter.
ONe question though: When will I be able to get this updated translation via the WordPress environment? I do see occasional ‘translation files updates’ occuring but at the moment, the wrong translation is still active on the site with no waiting updates for translation files.Or do I need to implement this translation file manually on the ftp server?
