ParticipantWe are also using Event Tickets Plus, but we notice a huge slowdown when Event Calendar is on.

ParticipantWe are noticing a very large Physical Memory usage spike when Calendar is turned on and someone is logged into the back end of the site. It’s spiking up to around 614MB and staying there until someone logs out of the back end.

I’m happy to help you out with your site speed issues here. Would you try adding the following to your functions.php file? I think it may help out based on what you’ve described so far:

We added that to the functions.php file, but the site is still extremely slow with Events Calendar installed. I don’t think this sped it up at all.

Thanks for posting, and for using our plugins.
Since the issue seems to be isolated to conflicts with other plugins, I’d suggest reaching out to their developers for support with this issue, as we, unfortunately, can’t support theme and plugin conflicts on this forum. We use this forum to support issues with our plugins out of the box, as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and the rest of our plugin suite.
