Waiting list

I am about to build a site that need the powerful option of the event calendar and event manager. One of the option ask for by the client is to have a waiting list. here is the request.

A baby massage course is open, 1 teacher for 10 person on jan 5, the course is put online… booking going great… but all the 10 spot are taken. the course is still in the list, more people what it, because it’s trending, there must be a way to get in line to be keep inform when another course of this type open…

then the manager see there is 15 people on the waiting list, then he open another course on jan 15, and get an email to all those people, and the course 10 spot are almost book instantly !. win-win situation..

NOW the only option i have found is : event expresso waiting list. the question, when there will be that in your software ? i can beta test it !

Excellent question. RSVPs and appointments are indeed something we are looking at and hope to build. I’m afraid I don’t have a timetable for when that is coming, but I’d suggest visiting the link above and signing up for notifications on that feature request. We use that forum to provide updates on feature requests.
