ParticipantI am setting up custom user accounts with specific permissions to access Event Tickets Plus features… I’ve done enough for all but one of the users. This user needs access to only Events and to see who purchased tickets to an event and the orders related to events. I’ve been able to give them access to see the events, but when they click on the Attendees or Orders it gives the generic WordPress “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” error screen. If I give that user “Edit Posts” capability they are able to see these two screens, but it also gives wholesale access to some custom post types from my theme as well as some posts.
Is there a way to target just the Attendees and Orders report pages? I can see they’re part of the tribe_events post type, but don’t know how to add a custom capability to target just that? Any help is appreciated.
I am a designer who has some programming knowledge, but not my primary area of expertise.

The good news is that we have an internal feature ticket to add new capabilities, including the attendee reports.
For now however, your best bet is to “cheat a little”.
Here is how to do it:- Create a new user role for that specific customer
- Grant that role the proper capabilities (including Edit post)
- Use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/adminimize/ to hide unwanted menus from wp-admin for that role. This can also be accomplished via functions.php if you prefer.
It is not ideal, but it could buy you some time until we improve things on our end.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
