With that in mind, you did mention that you are using recurring events which is a the Events Calendar Pro feature. Is it possible that you have a valid premium license under another email address ?
In any case, for the recurring event issue, there is a setting you can use under Events -> Settings -> General so that only the first occurrence displays.
