We just went live with our new TEC calendar solution last week and while we are loving it, our users keep asking about a search option to return all events in a state.
I realize that the default location search uses geo-location, but was wondering if there’s an easy way to make it so that if a user enters only a state name (such as MA or Massachusetts), the search results would return all events in that particular state?
Also, would you be able to explain or provide a list of what the default geo-location is for the states? As it stands, I can enter a state abbreviation or complete state name in the location field, and the calendar returns events based on a certain location in that state. I haven’t been able to figure out what that is though.
