Very long loading time in Category List View

hi,
since the update the loading time for some calendar-views increased very much.

on the calendar-startpage the loading time is ok, while there are around 20 calendar-list-widgets loading events in specific categories.

single events are shown without problem as well.

but if you try to get the events of a category via list-view, you have to wait quite long

is there an easy way to fix this problem?

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I can try to help troubleshoot this with you.

I took a look at your site and see what you mean.

It is hard to tell what is causing the slow down.

Do you have any custom coding for the Events Calendar?

Can you try using a plugin like Query Monitor:

Query Monitor

That can tell you what the slow queries are so we can get some more information on this.

Let me know what you find out.
