Very Frustrated with this Addon

We purchased this AddOn last week. I’m having trouble getting it to work and the documentation is so limited I’m not finding how to get this to work.

I’ve added an event, created a ticket and added all the necessary info. I’m trying to sell it using Easy Digital Downloads. Every time I add the price, the stock and the SKU and save it, it reverts back to RSVP.

Also, the event is showing as Free. Where can I change that? Is that because it keeps defaulting back to RSVP?

I added all of the PayPal API credentials in Easy Digital Downloads. I don’t see any other settings that would make this not work.

What am I missing? This event is next week and I can’t get this to work. I have several more events to add for December and another client looking to use this same addon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, more with this…

I also created a ticket with all the same info in a Post.

It looks like it completely breaks my theme, but when I revert to TwentyFifteen you can see the ticket, but there is no way to purchase it. It also does not expand to make the choices we added for dinner selection and name on ticket. Please see the attachment.

I deleted the ticket that was on the event and added a new one. See the attachment. This ticket is saved and says it is using Easy Digital Downloads. Again, I can select how many attending, but I don’t get any of the other options, or a button to check out.

I gave up on Easy Digital Downloads. It was anything but Easy for me.

I have much more experience using WooCommerce. So, I deactivated Easy Digital Downloads, Installed Woo Commerce and it appears to be working fine.

Not sure what the problem was, but it totally fudged everything up.

I’m super sorry to hear about the troubles you hit while setting up Event Tickets Plus with Easy Digital Downloads, though I am really happy to hear that things appear to work much more smoothly with WooCommerce.

I’ve flagged this thread for us to do a little extra testing on our next release to make sure everything is working smoothly between Event Tickets Plus and Easy Digital Downloads.

In the meantime, please do let us know if you bump into any troubles while using WooCommerce with our products and we’d be happy to check it out with you.
