Very annoying lacking feature

Hello,
When adding event organizer and event place in the new event page, I do not find them in the corresponding lists. More annoying is that when you click their link on the resulting event page it goes to 404 not found! The work around is to create organizers and places before creating the event. I use WordPress 4.6.1 with WPML, but it affects also the original language. This also blocks the possibility to have an efficient use for the community events plug-in.
Is it already on the work bench for the expected 4.3 release?

We are sorry to hear about the struggles you are dealing with while handling organizers and venues with WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are absolutely right. This is a current limitation of how our plugins interact with WPML.
The good news is that we came up with a solution for that that has just passed QA.

So that should be released very soon. Stay tuned.

At this point however, we have not announced any compatibility for Community Events.
The other good news is that are working on making all of our plugins compatible with WPML.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.

Finally, version 4.3 will finally provide recurring events support for our WPML users.
