ParticipantHey there,
I confront an issue with venues and organizers. Whenever I’m trying to view their pages, I got a “nothing found” message and the rendered template is the index.php of the theme. I tried to re-save the permalinks but nothing happened.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
Do you have a filter to change the name of the organizer or the venues?
I looked and see this for the venue:
χώρος-διεξαγωγής
Or is that part of the translation file?
Either what the urls can only accept UT-8 characters and for the most part all those characters are not accepted by WordPress itself in the urls.
That is again a limitation of WordPress and we are unable to change that.

thanks for the reply on this. I reverted these two strings, Venue and Organizers, re-save the permalinks and everthings seems to work as should be.
Please take this into account, the slugs shouldn’t be translated at any cost, right?Warm regards,

MemberI am not 100% sure that it should work, but there is a chance it could.
What is the coding you are using to change the slug? Can you provide it in a reply and I can play around with it some and see what I can do.
If I cannot get it to work I can create a ticket for us to look into further.

I just used PoEdit to revert the translation of these strings, re-save the permalinks and everything worked! 😉

What language is this. So I can test in it on this and see what I find out.
Or was this a custom translation you did for your site?

I have tested it out and see what you mean.
For now it will require a change in the slug, but I have a ticket for us to look into and address this.
I am going to close this ticket to new replies, but the issue is still open and we will update this ticket once we release a fix.
