venue widget shows no upcoming event

Hello. I’m working locally on a site that runs with The Event Caldendar and Event Calendar Pro.
The client needs to promote concerts in differnet venues so I used the venue widget in my sidebar and it telles me there are no upcoming event for that venue, although on trough th single-venue template all my events are properly displayed.
I created the neede folders:
[my_theme]/tribe-events/
and [my_theme]/tribe-events/pro/
to duplicate the default templates befor overriding them if ever
but for now all I noticed was that my problem came from this

Can someone tell me why it doesn’t find events matching the current venue
