Venue name missing

I originally posted this with the theme vendor, VamTam, because The Events Calendar is bundled with the theme I purchased. Their support person recreated the problem with the default 2014 theme., and said I should contact you.

I mostly use venue names for room numbers, with the actual street address left blank. My issue is that the venue NAME is missing on some pages, for both single and recurring events. It shows up on the Event List page (e.g. http://unitynorth.org/events/list/). It does NOT show up when you select/join an individual event (e.g., http://unitynorth.org/event/workshop-celebrating-the-joy-of-volunteering/).
Sometimes the state abbreviation (e.g. GA) will be listed, but not the venue name. It is also NOT appearing in the Upcoming Events section at the bottom of an individual event page.

If the venue DOES include an address, the venue name is still not visible: (e.g. http://unitynorth.org/event/global-humanitarian-summit/), although the street address is.

So is the venue something like Room 7

And that is it? Not other information filled in?

I tried on my test site and made the venue name Room 7 and that was it and it showed for me.

I looked at your site and the map with the pointer is not a feature we support.

This is how a single event is made with the default features:

I am not sure how that map is created, but I am not able to support it as it is not our feature.

You might have to instead take the venue function from our templates and put it in your custom template to always show.
