I have been using Events Calendar PRO for about six months and am very happy with it! However, I have a small problem with venue list sequence. When creating or editing events, and I select the drop down list of venues, I cannot determine the sequence of the venues being displayed. It does not appear to be the venue title or city. For example, I have two titles Avon and Ault Park and they are not listed following one anther. It does not appear to be by geographical location. For example Cincinnati and Ault Park (which has Cincinnati as its city) are also not listed following one anther.What happens is that when calendar admins are creating events, they look at the venues and don’t see the one they want so they create an additional duplicate venue address. I cannot explain the sequence for them to expect to see the venues listed in.
I’ve search for “venue sequence”, “venue list sequence”, “venue list”, and how to add events, as well as other topics under Knowledgebase without success.
It seems there must be a simple answer but I can’t find it. Can you help?

I’ve attached a screen shot. You can see that the venue list is not in alphabetical order by title, which is what I expected. However, I can’t find what sequence the venues are listed. It’s not by venue city or ZIP. Can you help me understand?Thanks.

Thanks for the screenshot, that helps a lot.
I checked this and I have something similar on my end. It looks like we have a bug here.
I have created a bugticket, so our developers will take a crack at it sometime.
I checked it with earlier version of the plugin and it exists there too, so at the moment I do not have a workaround, sorry.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
