I have maps enabled, have tried address I know are good, and other FAQ suggestions – we are about to import from older CMS – I have only one event in so for – http://dev-palmspringslife.pantheonsite.io/calendar-of-events/an-evening-with-jonathan-karrant/

Thanks for reaching out about this. I would love to help you with this. I had a looksie at your site and there appears to be a conflict between your theme and The Events Calendar. There might be a way to resolve it. Would you mind sharing a zip copy of your theme here so I could try building a patch?

Please pardon the delay. I ended up getting a bit swamped on Friday. I just tried to reproduce this and was unable to with your theme. I then tried to examine your site to see if there were any settings or clues that might help me reproduce it, and I noticed that your events are showing the map now. Any idea what you did that fixed it?

Thanks Brooks – I uninstalled the google maps API and reinstalled – then did the same for The Events calendar. The calendar maps were originally working… but when a developer changed the appearance of the maps for another plugin.. it effected the calendar maps – a refresh on the install worked..

That is so very odd. What is happening is that something is changing our map element HTML id from “tribe-events-gmap-0” to “tribe-events-gmap-randomtext”. The only way for it do this would be to override a variable within one of our own functions, which seems like a difficult thing to do. We have been puzzled by this everytime we see it, and it seems to sometimes fix itself.
