ParticipantI have noticed that the venue information is contained into a 1.5 inch column. I think it is not wrapping around the google map. But if I remove the google map it still is squashed up.
I have disabled the plugins and re-downloaded twenty thirteen to replace css in case I messed something up. I also reverted footer.php in case a change in there messed it up.
Thoughts?

ParticipantFYI – I use Events -> Settings -> Display -> Events Template -> Default Page Template.
If I change to Default Events Template it seems to behave better.

Glenn.

MemberHi glennpackham,
I see what you are describing and this is again the same as the layout issue. Your theme and our plugin just do things a little differently and these issues are coming up because of that. We try to make our plugins as compatible as possible, but we cannot foresee everything that might happen.
Which is why we provide different ways to change the base template for the events so you can find the way that is closest to how you would like it to display.
From there you can use our Themer’s Guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
To change the templates after you move them to your theme to get it exactly how you would like.
We can always help answer questions about issues that come up such as this, but it is beyond the support we can provide to do provide all those changes.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks – I hear what you are saying.
BUT! 🙂
I am using a theme that is reasonably “standard” being twenty thirteen.
Anyway – I think I have found the issue. Let’s hope there are no ramifications. 🙂
In single-venue.php
Line that includes class=”tribe-venue-description tribe-events-content entry-content”
Removed the “entry-content” at the end.I tried to see if the same problem existed on your demo but none of your examples have content. Maybe it is a bug?
Regards,
Glenn.

MemberOk sounds good about the comptaiblity fixes as I said in the other ticket Twenty Thirteen is close, but the absolute positioned sidebar would take a little css to work around to get it how you would like.
The templates go in here:
/public_html/home/wp-content/themes/twentythirteen-child/tribe-events/pro/single-venue.php
The base for all templates is here:
/public_html/home/wp-content/themes/twentythirteen-child/tribe-events/
Think of the /view/ directory in the plugin as being replaced by /tribe-events/ in your theme.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks
