GuestHello, I have a few questions as I assess Events Calendar Pro plugin for a client of mine.
1. In addition to the WordPress plugin, do you additionally have a static website version? My client has 2 websites, one of them is a WordPress site and your plugin will be perfect. But it also shares a calendar with another website that is not WordPress and I’m wondering how much they can share data.
2. I understand that you can import events as an CSV file. Is it possible to export events as CSV as well?
3. Is it possible to get an example of the CSV export if there is one?
4. Once the calendar is set up, is it possible to get direct links to various categories that you have set up in the Calendar? Example, A link that takes you directly to all events in a city only. Or a link that takes you directly to all events on Thursdays?
Thank you for your help, much appreciated.

ParticipantHey Robert!
Thanks for reaching out!

There is unfortunately no static website version at this time. 🙁 One can only use our software on WordPress websites at this time.
2. I understand that you can import events as an CSV file. Is it possible to export events as CSV as well?

Our plugins do not provide a CSV export tool of their own—you would have to install a CSV export plugin of some kind, as the only built-in exporter tools are the WordPress Core exports, which export XML files.
I don’t have a specific recommendation for a plugin that would do this, but you should be able to find something at http://wordpress.org/plugins
4. Once the calendar is set up, is it possible to get direct links to various categories that you have set up in the Calendar? Example, A link that takes you directly to all events in a city only. Or a link that takes you directly to all events on Thursdays?
You can indeed link to specific categories of events. If you have an Event Category called “Concerts”, for example, and your events page is at example.com/events, then going example.com/events/category/concert/ will lead to a filtered calendar view that only shows events in that specific “Concerts” category.
You ask about being linked to all events on Thursdays—this is unfortunately NOT possible at this time, unless you literally added a category called “Thursday” and added all events that happened on Thursdays to it.
I hope this information helps!
Thank you,
