ParticipantHi – could you confirm that the variable pricing that Woocommerce offers definitely works with Events Calendar Pro using your Woocommerce Tickets.
I’ve used Woocommerce before and had no problem setting variations on price but when adding an event it asks for a price in the Ticket section and no option for variables. This is what seems to show when viewing the event.eg this event/product has options for paying £35, £50 or £70 in Woocommerce, but as I had to enter only one price (or else be shown to be ‘free’) in the Ticket section of Event, it only shows that price to the user.

I presume that this should work, yes? If it’s not a feature then I will asking for a refund I’m afraid. All our event charges are variable.
But maybe I’m doing something stupid…highly possible!
thanks

ParticipantHey AJ,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately our Ticketing plugins don’t work as Variable Products and are currently only intended to be used as “Simple Products”. This is something that has been brought up on our UserVoice and something we have taken into consideration.
If you would like a refund though, you can submit a request to support[at]theeventscalendar.com for a refund.
In the meantime, we do have a beta program for some updates we’re making to our Ticket plugins. With this update, you’ll now be able to store meta information with tickets. This isn’t exactly what you’re requesting here but I could see some possible workarounds with multiple tickets as a potential solution here.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

No problem. I’m sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully one of the solutions provided above will work out for you.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
