Using Tickets for

Hello!

We have a potential client that needs a new website for their dance class business. They need to be able to allow their students to pay their monthly dues through the site and also take attendance (which I believe they could use the guest check-in system?).

Is there a way to sell subscriptions (tickets) that are good to use for a set period of time (1 month) from the time of purchase? So if someone were to sign up (buy a ticket) on July 15, it would be good through August 14 (which is 30 days). Is this possible?

Hi there!

Thanks so much for checking us out! It sounds to me like this is actually two features you’re interested in:

• Support for “season pass”-type tickets, which cover a range of dates and support multiple check-ins that are tracked within that time period. This feature isn’t currently supported, although we do have a feature request for it if you’d like to lend your support!
• Support for purchasing a ticket on any given day that could then be used for the next x days before expiring. Depending on your requirements, you may be able to achieve something similar with a daily recurring event, though check-ins for each class would need to be handled manually outside of the plugin in this case.

You may want to take a look at our Eventbrite Tickets plugin, as Eventbrite may have more established support for the type of event management you’re needing here. That said, if this is functionality you’d like to see us support in a future release, we’d be thrilled to get your feedback and suggestions over on our feature request forum! 🙂
