    Dear Support,
The users of my website enter their events through a WPForm and all events land in a Custom Post Type called “Events”. Your calendar comes with a separate place for events which I can fill from the backend without any problem.

Now, because I like the visual options that the Custom Post Type gives me (to display list of events for a special category only, for example) and it is much easier to change the look and feel of titles and such. I would like the Event Calendar to grab its content from my custom post type, not your event menu point. As I want things to appear when they are posted, I don’t want to create a file which then is uploaded via the Aggregator. I just want to tell your calendar where to grab the events from.

    Is this possible?
I can gladly send you screen shots if this would help if I have not been able to make myself clear enough.
    Best regards,
    Marianne

Hi. Thanks for asking, but, no, this isn’t possible.

Our own custom post type is required to be used, along with a very specific set of custom fields.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
