I want to offer my customer (site owner) the ability to use the PRO plugin on their staging site (at GoDaddy) AND the live site. They are new to WordPress and using the staging site to preview the content then publishing to live will provide them with needed confidence that things will be right before they publish.

However, with the current license, can’t have your PRO plugin on BOTH staging and live. Do not want them to have to move it the license each time.

Can you help me? It would seem that a single license could cover a staging site too….

I use your plugin a lot and this issue comes up often, but until now I haven’t had to really have the staging site workable.

    many thanks,
    Nancy

    Hi Deborah.

It sounds like you’re already familiar with our Using one license for your live and dev sites KB article. The other alternative is to purchase a higher-level license that allows more than just 1 site to be registered with the same license key. You can upgrade by visiting your My Account > License Keys page and clicking the “Upgrade to ___” link.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
