Using ical to import events from meetup

Hi

I know I can’t import events directly from meetup

However, meetup gives me an option to export all events from the groups I am following via ical

Does this enable me to then upload them into eventscalendar?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.

If it is a iCal feed it should be able to import from it.

There is also a free plugin to import from Meetup for the Events Calendar:

Event Importer for Meetup and The Events Calendar

That might work better for you. I tried it out myself a couple months ago and it worked well.

THe facebook importer automatically imports a picture for each event.

Is it possible to do this with the meetup importer?
