Using iCal or rss to feed events calendar pro

Hi all,

I\’d like to use a feed system (rss,iCal ) to populate events calendar pro. Any way this is possible or am I dreaming?

The intent is to be able to feed the events calendar with events from various sources without all the manual labor

Hey Carlos,

It’s possible but I don’t know of any certified solution for this. What I would try is using the Feed WordPress plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedwordpress/ – it let’s you specify as many feeds as you want to import and gives you control over what happens with the posts that are imported. Thats probably your best bet.

Thanks Jonah! Looks like that plugin is broken. My intent is to compile events from several sources with as little maintenance and heavy lifting as possible.

The Feed WordPress is your best bet. I’ve used it on numerous sites and it works great for pulling in blog posts from multiple sources. Aside from that you’ll have to figure it out on your own 🙂
