Using filter to advance to upcoming event in calendar month view

When I choose a tag from the filter while in month view, it does not advance me to the first instance the event with that tag appears next. It just says there were no results found. In list view, the filter brings you to next upcoming event(s) with that tag. Is it possible to have this functionality in month view.

Here’s an example of an event tagged with “Cruise” that was not happening in June, so it returned no results. Intuitively, I would have expected it to advance to the Oct calendar in month view. That’s when the event is actually scheduled.

And does it happen with any other filters (e.g. category) or just the Tags?
