Where do you add that code? what file?

Hi, Angela.

I’d guess https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/using-feature-image-as-background-image/#post-1151188 is the correct snippet to use if you’re wanting each event’s single event page to have its featured image as the background. To implement this, you’d need to include it in the single-event.php file (see our Themer’s Guide) or put it in an action hook.

Both of these are outside our Scope of Support / Terms. Sometimes we’re able to provide some snippets, like Nico did in that thread, but we wouldn’t be able to implement them for you.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
