Using event's product page instead of event's event page for purchase

On http://192.185.139.101/~hcbffa/hbcffa-events/test-membership-luncheon-meeting/ I have an event. On this event, I created an orange button to Register (purchase tickets) for this event, which links to the product page created by your plugin for the event’s ticket. I cannot use the Event page to actually sell the tickets because I have to collect some info from the customers, which I do via a Gravity Forms product addon form. These forms can only be inserted into a product, and not an event.

The problem is that at the bottom of the Event page, there is an add to cart button which lets the user purchase the ticket from the event’s page without filling out the form on the event’s product page.

How can I do one (or both) of the following:

1. Remove the Add to Cart button from Event pages (I’m using a plugin to add html and css to individual pages to, which can remove the Add to Cart button), but it doesn’t apply to Event posts (only posts and pages apparently).

2. Make the Add to Cart button on Events pages go to the Product page for the Event (created with your Tickets for WooCommerce plugin) instead of the Cart.

Note: The two Yes boxes are not checked below because they are not relevant to my request.

Thanks for using our plugins, I can help point you in the right direction for this customization.

I think the first option is the easiest to do, but see my answers below:

1. Remove the Add to Cart button from Event pages (I’m using a plugin to add html and css to individual pages to, which can remove the Add to Cart button), but it doesn’t apply to Event posts (only posts and pages apparently).

It is possible to remove, if you follow our themer’s guide:

You could modify this file once moved to your theme to remove the Add to Cart Button or change the box as you would like, including removing all the coding and using your custom coding instead:

\wootickets\views\wootickets\tickets.php

2. Make the Add to Cart button on Events pages go to the Product page for the Event (created with your Tickets for WooCommerce plugin) instead of the Cart.

This maybe able to be done with some javascript, but beyond the support we can provide on the forum to create that coding.
