User with 'Author' role permissions is able to view ALL events

Hi,

We have a pretty urgent issue. User with ‘Author’ role permissions is able to view ALL events in the backend, including those for which he is not the owner. This is a big confidentiality breach. We need the user to have ‘Author’ permissions so that they are able to log in their dashboard and check in people.

Could you please advise how to fix this?

Welcome back:-)

An immediate response I have for you is the Admin roles and permissions KB article. Let me know if you’re able to get everything going as desired. In the mean time, I’ll investigate a bit more to see if it is in fact a bug and if so, I’ll log it and update this thread with more information.
