Is there any way a user (person listing an event) can post an event on calendar pro ?
Or is this only a function that a user can do on the community events calendar?
Which means I would have to purchase both calendar pro and the community events plugins. Is that correct?

I need website visitors to have the ability to post there own events in calendar pro, but it seems that isn’t possible. I also need the ability to edit their submissions and communicate back with them before the listing goes live. So it seems that the only way to accomplish this is to buy both calendar pro and community events calendar plugins because calendar pro doesn’t have this capability. Is that correct?
    Thank you.
(I’m submitting these questions again because I think the first time it was submitted it was not clear.)

    Hi Marcia,

Thanks for your note. Events Calendar PRO adds a number of cool features to our base calendar (The Events Calendar) such as recurring events, advanced views and widgets, etc. Community Events (a separate add-on plugin) adds the ability for site visitors to submit events to your calendar. Community Events can work with just our base calendar, or you can combine it with Events Calendar PRO as well. However, you don’t need PRO in order to have users submit events- just Community Events.

You can set Community Events so that all the events are marked as Pending Review, and you can edit and publish them. You can also require people to register with your site before posting events, so you then have their email on file and can contact them. Does that answer your questions?

    Best,

    Leah
