User Generated Events

I’d love to use The Event Calendar PRO for a project. Is there any way to easily allow a user to generate an event? I.e. A user comes to a page on the public-facing site that has a form with event-related fields. Upon submitting the form, an event is created in WordPress but not published.

I’m sure I could code this manually but I wondered if any features exist such as an API with a create_event function that would make this easy to implement.

Thanks for getting in touch! You’re in luck, because we have a specific add-on that does exactly what you’re describing. Take a look at our Community Events add-on, which will allow users to submit events via the front-end of your site.
