User custom fields

Hi there,

Is it possible to add custom fields to a user so that they can be ‘reused’ when adding a new event and choosing an existing user? Events will be submitted on the frontend using the Community Events addon.

We need to ask quite a few additional questions relating to the person posting the event and would like to avoid folk having to repeat this each time they add an event.

Hi Andy,

Great question!

I don’t see why not = our plugins are nothing if not flexible – but it isn’t something that’s facilitated “out of the box”. Certainly if you were to take advantage of other features that come provided with WordPress itself, like user registration and profiles, you could roll what you have described into Community Events without too much work.

To summarize – it would need some customization work to achieve this, but nothing drastic 🙂
