User Access Token is required

I’m having a bit of a problem setting up my Facebook Sync. The thing I’m trying to accomplish is building an event calendar for a geographical location. In this location there are multiple bars, musea, theatres etc. so there are multiple public facebook events that happen here. The main problem I’m having is that the API returns the following error:

Facebook API Error: A user access token is required to request this resource.

What could be the cause of this error and how can I solve this?

Hi Dave,

 

You’ll need to get an access token from Facebook to be able to import events. Our New User Primer (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/facebook-importer-new-user-primer/) has some videos and information that will walk you through that process.

 

Give that a try and let me know if that resolves the error.
