Use Custom Post Type for Event Venue and Organizer

I have a custom post type I created that I want to use as the source for the Event Venue and Organizer select lists. Is this possible?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately that is not possible. But you can assign any type of fields and metaboxes to the Event Venue and Organizer.

OK, so here’s what I’m trying to do.

+ I have a custom post type for bars, restaurants and other businesses that advertise with my business.

+ I want to maintain a calendar of all the events hosted / sponsored by these advertisers.

+ I want to be able to display all of the events hosted or sponsored by a selected advertiser on the detail page for that advertiser (i.e., a parent-child relationship).

Can I do this with your Events Calendar plugin?

Hi Howard,

Our plugin will only manage The Events and you will need to work with a developer to get a good synergy with a few plugins to accomplish the structure you are thinking, that is not so simple to create.
