ParticipantAt some point during an upgrade it appears that all our date specific URL’s no longer work eg http://www.funferret.co.uk/event/mighty-kickers-football-3%C2%BD-5th-bday-knutsford/2017-09-16/
The “all” seems to still work. When we go into each event and re-save it the URL’s then work. Unfortunalty with around 4,000 entries, going into each one and saving it just isn’t an option for us.
Even odder is that not only do we get a blank page with no content (menu bar still there), but no admin bar!

ParticipantUPDATE – Sorry re-saving the event does not make it show.

MemberHi James.
It’s interesting. And I do see that http://www.funferret.co.uk/event/mighty-kickers-football-3%C2%BD-5th-bday-knutsford/all/ does work.
Maybe you could enable WP_DEBUG and see if one of those ‘date URLs’ (a single event in the recurrence series) has anything show up…
Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Let us know what you find. đŸ™‚

ParticipantAfter Updating Avada Theme (which now clearly sells itself as being Events Calendar compatible) it changed a lot of layouts and themeing we had done to the plugin. We then rolled the site back several times (hosted at GoDaddy), after which the URLs to a specific event stopped working as per my previous posts.
After much hair pulling, it appears to be that when I allow the Avada upgrade to occur, the URL’s work again. I am not clear on why this happens even after rolling back, however it seems to be some connection between Events Calendar and Avada.
I am just sharing this in case anyone else has the same problem.
Regards

MemberThanks for all the info. I’m glad to hear running all the latest versions of plugins and theme fixed it for you.
