    Hello,

I would like to translate the slug (url) for the calendar : http://screencast.com/t/hi9Vklvabt.

I have installed WPML but i cannot find it in the string translation or in the poedit. What is the best method to translate it ?

I would like it to be …/evenements or …/evenement/name-of-the-event in french and …/events or …/event/name-of-the-event in english.

    Thanks in advance

    Howdy 3ejoueur,

That’s a cool idea, and a feature we’d like to build. But it’s not something you can do right now. You have to choose a base URL and go from there. Some people are choosing shortened base URLs like /e/ that are a bit more ambiguous and help hide the fact that there is no translation, but that’s not an option for everyone.

    Did that answer your question?

    Cheers!

    Hello Brook,

Thanks for the reply. It would be a great feature to be able to translate it. Please consider adding the possibility to do it.

    Thanks again 🙂

For sure! We definitely agree. The feature has not been scheduled yet, but it is on our todo list.

Thanks for getting back. Please let us know if you ever need anything else!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
