URL from TEC website not working in Aggregator Import

My website is crbeta.whatsondigest.com (that’s a beta site so the url won’t be around forever.)

I’m trying to import events from another website running The Events Calendar. I copy the website url – http://tidemarktheatre.com – and past it in the URL section of the “Other URL” import settings.

When clicking “Preview” I get the following error: There was an error fetching the results from your import: Event Aggregator cannot import events from this site.

That is hard to believe because I’ve been able to get events from that URL in the past. tidemarktheatre.com hasn’t changed and is very clearly still using The Events Calendar.

What’s the problem?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I would be happy to help you.

I tried to import events from the website you mentioned, and I had exactly the same error as the one you encountered.

It actually comes from the fact that the tidemarktheatre.com website runs an outdated version of The Events Calendar. Once the TEC plugins on that website will be updated, there shouldn’t be any problem importing its events anymore.
