URL are not correct. 'Event' and 'Events' reversed and causing issues

When i use the URL ending with the page ‘event’ I get the full calendar with the events listed even though in the setting that would appear to be for a single event.

When I use the URL ending with ‘events’ i get no events listed.

The problem is on a page with a single event there is a little header hotlink that says “<<All Events” that is internally linked somewhere to go to that ‘events’ page which is not where the events on the calendar are (there are supposed to be)

I have no problem linking to the page that shows my events the problem happens with the Hotlink going to a blank calendar,
SO i need either help reprogramming that hotlink, or help getting the events to show on the calendar with eh URL ending in EVENTS
