ParticipantGood evening from Germany,
I reported the last issue on July 26th – But unfortunately there was not feedback at all 🙁
I would expect, even if Andras is not available a reply to my post – it’s still is a severe issue with is not resolved yet.
Best Regards

KeymasterHallo Uwe,
Sorry for the long silence, I was out until today. Not sure why there was no response from the team, this is unusual. I will flag it so we pay more attention to this in the future.
Checkboxes and the autocomplete field work very similarly from a technical point of view.
I will check what you shared today and will get back to you. Thanks for your patience!
Cheers,

KeymasterI checked the pdfs that you shared. Yes, it looks like the same query all the time. Might be that a user visited the site, set up filters and after setting up the filters he refreshed the page several times because the filtering was running for a long time. But this is only a guess. Not quite sure what to make of it at the moment.
Do you have any way to track visitors on the site? Possibly IP addresses of visitors, pages visited, etc.? Matching those to the time of the queries might reveal some further information.

MemberHi Uwe!
Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release (for the Week of 2 October 2017) is out, including a tweak in Filter Bar that improves performance by swapping out LEFT JOINs for INNER JOINs in SQL queries.
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-week-2-october-2017/
In addition to this improvement, we are also planning to support setting a limit on the number of filters that can be applied concurrently.
For the moment, we’d appreciate if you could update the plugins and let us know how this tweak works for your site.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
