ParticipantHello, I did search the forum and did not find anything pertaining to this.
When a vendor adds their event and ticket to the front end, the event picture is uploaded through a standard search for file.
However, the ticket upload accesses the WordPress gallery which is something I do not want vendors to have the ability to do. I would prefer they upload an image the same way it is done for the event picture. Is this an option, or is it an option to use the same picture they upload as the event picture to default to the ticket picture without requesting a picture for the ticket?
Thanks, hope this wasn’t too confusing.

MemberHi Lucas. Could you please explain what you meant by “…the same way it is done for the event picture” — maybe a screenshot would help?

MemberPlease let me know if I’m understanding your request completely:
on the Community Tickets portion of the Community Events form, you’re wanting theĀ ticket image upload to be a “simple” image upload and not initializing the full WP Media Library image select-existing or upload-new dialog box
Correct?

MemberThanks for your clarification.
I personally agree it’s oddly inconsistent. However, it’s not a simple fix.
I’ve passed this along for our developers to consider.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply if the applicable fix gets released. I cannot guarantee if/when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
