ParticipantThanks for trying to help me out Barry. I’ve gotten rid of the header.php error. The links in the widget are taking me to correct pages but once there I’m seeing this error: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/content/48/10736248/html/dev/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 248
class=”single single-tribe_events postid-290 logged-in ?page_id=-9999 events-single singular”>And I still have the Blog and Events nav links having the active class set at the same time.
Are you willing to take a quick look at our dev site? We purchased events brite plugin but we will be sure to get Events Cal Pro as well. Plus I’ll do what I can to promote the plugin. Whatever we can do…. just really need the help. Thanks.

MemberIf you can share a URL for your dev site we can definitely take a peak.

MemberHey hubsaltlake! We totally can still help you out here. Barry’s operating at half capacity this week, so he may be done for today already, but I’ve passed this his way so we can prioritize a follow-up tomorrow at the latest. Thanks for your patience on this end so far.

MemberHi hubsaltlake,
I think I’ve put two and two together here and hopefully come up with four this time. Though it relates to a different theme could you review this related item and see if that makes sense in your case (I suspect it may actually be the very same issue).
If so, it is not in fact a peculiarity of Roots but a bug in our plugin and one we hope to fix in a forthcoming maintenance release.
Does that help at all or at least offer some sort of insight and/or temporary workaround?

ParticipantThanks for the reply. I do not think that I can utilize css as temporary workaround in my case. I have wp_debug turned on. Please see the error generated here: http://dev.hubsaltlake.com/event/kickstarter-countdown-celebration-8/
Thanks.

MemberOk – if it’s not possible to workaround it in that way I think the best thing would be to sit tight until this (issue of the blog page being marked as active parent of event pages) is addressed in a forthcoming maintenance release.

MemberSorry we couldn’t offer more in the short-term here. GIven Barry’s last note I’m going to close this thread for now.
