    I upgraded my Events Calendar Pro and ticketing features, and keep getting the following error message:

    It looks like you’re using The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets, but the license key is invalid. Please download the latest version from your account.

    Whenever I enter the new license key, I still get that message. The ticketing feature was working just a month ago, AFTER I upgraded and entered this license key (which I updated BECAUSE I got this message in the first place several months ago).

    How do I get my ticket feature to work again?

    Is there a Customer Service number that I can call to have someone explain to me what I need to do to get this working properly? I am the site owner, but did not build the site and have very limited knowledge of how WordPress works. I would appreciate someone helping me to understand the problem so I may be able to learn from it and fix future issues.

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    We don’t have any phone support at this time, but I will do my best to help you here.

    It looks like you only have a current license to Events Calendar PRO.  WooCommerce Tickets has now turned into Event Tickets Plus.  You can check your license key by going to your License Keys page and enter your license into the proper slot in your Licenses page on your site.

    Hi Jaime,

    Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. When I purchased the license key for Events Calendar Pro, I thought I was purchasing the updated plugin to replace the WooCommerce Tickets. Is there a way to change my license key so I have the new ticketing feature (Events Tickets Plus) instead of Events Calendar Pro? Also, what is the difference? Do I need Events Calendar Pro then to use the Tickets feature?

    Hi John,

    First off, I can only reply to this thread (not in an email), so my responses will only be added to the thread, although you will get notifications of the responses in your email.

    You can use Event Tickets Plus as a standalone plugin, with the addition of our free Event Tickets plugin.  It just depends on your needs.  If you’d also like the addition of an events calendar with recurring events and shortcode features, you will need Events Calendar PRO in addition to Event Tickets Plus.

    You can check out our plugins on our demo site, which can help show you what all of our plugins can do.
