ParticipantI just upgraded Events Calendar Pro (and Events Calendar) to 3.2. This causes my featured post slider at the top of the page to disappear. IT functions when I deactivate these plugins, indicating they are the culprit. Both the calendar and this slider are mission critical to the site. Help needed urgently! I am also communicating with the theme authors.
Thanks,
GordonNovember 22, 2013 at 10:19 am #78231November 22, 2013 at 3:36 pm #78290Michelle
ParticipantI have added this code, and it partly works – the right side of the slider is displaying the excerpts, but the rotating featured image is not displaying. I then de-activated the calendar again to make sure that this was not being caused by another plugin. which it is not. Both the calendar plugin and the slider are very important to this site, so I hope there will be a solution that resolves this part of the problem. Thank you, Gordon

ParticipantYES! Thank you.
Any idea what implications this might have for when I upgrade Events Calendar in the future? I realize that may not be predictable.
This code is in a child theme.Gordon

ParticipantAs long as you leave it in your child theme, you should be fine 🙂
