Upgrade stopped Genesis Slider

I tried to find a solution before posting but no go. Basically, the older version worked fine but was forced to upgrade because I purchased Eventbrite tickets. Now the Genesis Slider stopped working. When I deactivate Events Calendar is starts up again. Any solutions? Getting ready to launch the site and this is delaying it. Thanks!

Let me add that I understand that “all plugins” need to be disabled? This is not possible. The problem lies within the Events Calendar. When I disable it, the slider works. It also worked before the upgrade.
