I just upgraded by Events Calendar Pro from 3.1 to 3.2 (it was the only plugin showing upgrade required). Now im getting a message “Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.” but when i click on Update Now i get “The plugin is at the latest version.”
How do i fix this? And why does the upgrade not take care of both or correctly show that the non-Pro part also needs upgrading?
You do need to update the free version of The Events Calendar separately from the PRO add-on. If for some reason, you are not being prompted (as you should be), you are welcome to download it from the wordpress.org repo: http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
I upgraded the Events Calendar manually and both it and the PRO add-on are now showing version 3.2. Why did it not detect that it needed upgrading even though it was showing version 3.2? Should i expect problems next time?
Hi, Alastair. I definitely understand your concern.
You should definitely be prompted to update the free plugin and whichever of our premium plugins that you have licenses for when we release a new version. I’m not sure what happened this time around, but I shouldn’t think that you would have problems next time.
