Updates last only 1 year
Your answer on Oct 4, 2018 claims that a Licence and support only lasts 1 year after that then the product works but I would get no more updates. If a wordpress update comes out that conflicts with the product I’m using then I would have to buy a new licence?

That’s a great question there.
You have the choice not to update your WordPress installation to keep compatibility, but in the long run that is not recommended.
Otherwise, if you would like to update the calendar plugin, then yes, you will need a valid subscription / license. This will grant you updates and premium support until your subscription is valid.
