ParticipantI have TEC Pro activated on a single subsite of a network.
Licence is okay, but I am not seeing available plugin updates – have manuallyupdated as per – https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/plugins-are-not-showing-updates/
pagely are troubleshooting for me on my network and they ask
which if I’m reading correctly would only apply to a multisite license key, and since all updates on a multi-site are managed at the network level it sounds like the automatic updates might require a mulisite license key. I presume the plugin might be checking if it’s a multisite installation and won’t show updates if the license keys you’ve got are only installed on the individual sites. Could you check with the plugin’s support and confirm the plugin is able to receive automatic updates on a multisite installation where the plugin is only active on individual sub-sites?
Thanks

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this issue once again. I’ll help you here.
We currently have an issue / limitation with how this works, and as you state updates don’t show up for individual sites. I’ve created a ticket for us to explore the possibilities to better manage this situation. I’m not 100% this is possible as Pagely states updates are managed from the network admin, but even if it’s not possible we should communicate this better.
Are you seeing the updates on the Network admin? Or just not seeing them in the subsite?
Sorry for the struggle with this issue, unfortunately you’ll need to stick to manual updates for now.
Best,

ParticipantHi and thanks
I’m not seeing the updates anywhere – so TBC not in the network admin or single sites.
There’s no way i’m going to be updating it manually regularly, I don’t really understand why it’s not possible – is it something to do with your overly complex licensing?

MemberHey Chris,
Thanks for following up!
The issue I mentioned is related to the ‘single’ site in a network but updates should be showing up in the Network Admin. A maintenance release is coming our later this week, can you hold up to see if it shows up? Also, do you have an staging site outside the Pagely hosting?
Please give me a heads-up when you see if it works or not,
Best,

ParticipantUnfortunately I don’t have a staging server, Pagely offer one for single sites but not networks..and I don’t currently have the skills / patience to set one up!
No plugin updates available as yet, but it may not have been pushed. So no need to respond I will update early next week.
Thanks
Chris

MemberHey Chris,
The updates were pushed yesterday, not sure if after or before your reply though. Be sure to check if the licenses are correctly in place!
Have a great weekend,
